FAE MTH250 Stabiliser
Stabilfix operate three Stabilising Crews. Two crews operate the FAE MTH250 mixer on the back of 360Hp John Deere Tractors. These machines are purpose built for Stabilising, and perfect for Heavy Patching. These machines mix as quickly as the bigger machines, with no need for pre-ripping. They can turn around fast, and do not need to be floated to the next patch, as they can travel at 45km/hr between patches. The mixer attachment weighs 7 tonnes, which makes it by no means a small machine.
Caterpillar RM500 Stabiliser
The other crew operates a Caterpillar RM500 stabiliser. This reliable 560 Hp machine is ideal for the bigger rehab type jobs, but can also do Heavy Patching. We operate our own float, so there are no delays in floating the machine to the next job.
Spreader Trucks
Our Spreader trucks are all fully calibrated Cement Tanker type units. They can hold up to 25 tonnes of product, which negates the pressure of waiting time on product deliveries. We do daily 1m2 Drop Tests on our spreads, which we believe are the most consistent in the industry. One tanker also has load cells fitted, should the client require printouts of spread rates.
